Hand drawn virtual spaces

An exploration

In direct response to the social distancing requirements during the COVID 19 pandemic and in recognition of the growing importance of the online virtual world paper-works* has been researching how the imagination , eye and hand can have a place in the creation of virtual spaces. Exploring how individual creativity can carve a place within a medium that technology and software dominates.

“In Isolation”

paper-works* has recently worked closely with Easterly Artists to create and curate “In Isolation” an exhibition of contemporary works by members . All works were created during and influenced by the period of lockdown. All the pieces are “hung” in a hand drawn virtual gallery, a shed, a place for retreat, reflection and creativity. Free PDF downloads are available, accessible by clicking the labels adjacent to the works.
